East Kalgoorlie School
Thank you to Lorraine, Geoff, Wendy, Linda, Esther
and Artur for coming along to assist.
This is the 12th year the Rotary Club of Hannans
have presented books to each of the students at East Kalgoorlie Primary School.
Sometimes this is the only book the students personally own.
They cherish the books and some have the book they received each year
which has pride of place in their homes.

"QUOTE OF THE WEEK"

Sports
A middle management executive has to take on some sport by his doctor’s orders,
so he decides to play tennis.
After a couple of weeks his secretary asks him how he’s doing
.“It’s going fine,” the manager says.
“When I’m on the court and I see the ball speeding toward me,
my brain immediately says,
‘To the corner! Back hand! To the net! Smash! Go back!’
”“Really? What happens then?” the secretary asks.
“Then my body says,
‘Who? Me? You must be kidding!’

A fellow walks into a pub near Buckingham Palace in London,
sits down, and says, "Give me a beer. I've had a rough day at work."
And the bartender says, "Oh? What do you do?"
The guy says, "I take care of the corgis
-- you know, the dogs the royal family owns."
The bartender asks, "Tough job, huh?"
The guy says, "Yeah. All that inbreeding has led to low intelligence
and bad temperaments. And the dogs aren't too smart, either."
