This week we were so very excited to welcome Michelle Shackleton

to our Club as our newest member.

Michelle has already been actively engaged in our community programs

and has offered a wealth of volunteering!

This week, together with her induction to the Busselton Geographe Bay Rotary Club,

we were thrilled to learn that Michelle will be instrumental

in the Rotary International Committee, assisting Julia Spark.

We welcome our newest Rotarian Michelle Gibson.

Nice to have you join our club

Last night we welcomed 2 new members to Baldivis Rotary.

To bring January to an end, our club was able to help out

Rotaract in WA

host the NYSF alumni BBQ. We welcomed alumni from previous NYSF programs

to Burswood Park for a barbecue and the opportunity to network with other alumni!

Was great seeing how rotary and Rotaract have influenced aspiring scientists

and people who are interested in STEM!

It was a social evening with a difference as Bernie and Carolina Masters

took on the roles of “wine connoisseurs” and treated members

and guests to an entertaining evening of wine, cheese and pizza tasting.

We celebrated the Chinese New Year at lunch today

and contributed to "Cows for Cambodia".

We are at the Explore the Goldfields Expo cooking up a storm with Kalgoorlie Rotary.

Hamburgers, Sausage Sizzle and Bacon and Egg Burgers.

All funds raised support out local community.

Great effort by members and friends at Sunday's clean up

on the South Perth foreshore 🚮🗑️💚🌳

We have been doing these regularly for 2 years

and Cigarettes, bottles and bottle lids are still the most collected items 🤷🏼‍♀️

At tonight's meeting we learnt all about Fremantle during WWII

from a local history buff Tim Baldock.
Tim's book Fortress Fremantle documents interesting recounts

of what went happen on our West Coast of Australia, in Fremantle.
