The Blackwood Tour is on again in 2023
The annual Rotary Tour of the Blackwood will be held again
on Saturday, 18th March 2023
with three courses running through the picturesque hills
of Bridgetown, Greenbushes, Balingup, and Nannup.
Described as one of the toughest rides in WA.
, the Full Tour is a challenging 134km road ride
with several Category 4 climbs,
there is also the
'Half & Best' 65km ride while the shortest course.

energetic, we also allow eBikes !
Former Olympian, multiple gold medalist, Steele Bishop OAM,
is
the Rotary Club of Bridgetown’s Tour Ambassador
and said “It’s a tough ride for an important cause
in a great part of the world.”
All funds
raised go toward Youth Mental Health,
the main beneficiary being Blackwood
Youth Action a local Charity,
to provide mental health services to young people
across the Warren Blackwood region.
Professor Fiona Stanley AC, the Patron of The Tour,
is a highly respected researcher and advocate
for child and adolescent health.
She said, `Young people in rural Australia
do not
have access to the same services
that their regional and city counterparts do.
It is pleasing to see innovative, community driven projects
to support young people.
in getting the care
that they need.

challenging ride through the
beautiful Blackwood River countryside.
