ARH WA Suicide Intervention Training Initiative
(SITI)
In 2021 your Australian Rotary Health (ARH) WA team
set up a
RAWCS-RABS project
to
provide suicide intervention training
for
regional, rural
and
remote communities across Western Australia.
Recently the first candidate,
Stephen
Morrison from Kalgoorlie,
very
successfully completed the safeTALK training.
Stephen is a valuable trainer with extensive.
reach
into many communities.

he will provide and develop awareness, alertness.
and
skills around working with suicide.
and building communities that are safer from
suicide."
Soon he will deliver his first shared workshop,
probably
partnering initially
with a
similarly trained Bush Chaplain
so they can continue developing skills
together.

regularly leads Men’s Bush Trips
for any Men from their community,

the Good Way program with their Men.
