Rotary WA Employment Project
 Online Information Session

Free
www.eventbrite.com.au
If you are a member of a Rotary Club and are interested
in making a difference in your community,
join our FREE online Webinar about the Rotary Employment Project!
The employment outcomes for people with disability
in Australia are exceedingly poor,
 as many independent measures demonstrate.
This perpetually poor performance has a severe impact on people
with disability and the lives they are able to live,
with high rates of poverty being just one example.
Their high rates of unemployment and low workforce participation
create significant social and economic costs for Australia as a whole.
Join us at this webinar to find out more about how
you and your club can become involved in this innovative project,
the first of its kind in WA.
The project focuses on finding opportunities within the community
that connect an individual to employment,
based on their interests and skill sets.
Inclusion Solutions and Rotary Clubs around WA identify
local businesses that can offer valued roles to individuals
in a mutually beneficial relationship between employee and employer.
Through this project,
we are employing a genuine strength-based approach to address
a long-standing and pivotal issue for people
living with a disability – that of meaningful employment.
Every member who registers for the webinar
goes in the draw to WIN $100 for their Rotary Club!
The $100 will be donated to your club's fundraising account
to go towards any of your current projects.
This webinar will be roughly 45 minutes
and will answer all of your questions about the
Rotary Employment Project and how you can get involved
to make a difference to the lives of people with disabilities,
their families and the community around them.

Please register to join us to find out more
about this exciting project

"Get Scrubbed - Scrub Hats and Linen Bags for HCW,"
is a project designed to make scrub caps and linen bags
for nurses and other health care workers in WA.
The fabulous Jane O'Leary & Judy Dinnison
are administrators of this group and they
co-ordinate requests from hospitals in WA.
was successful in obtaining a Dick Smith Compassionate Grant
of $8000 through RAWCS to assist with this.
If your or any friends, relatives or colleagues are interested
 in sewing for the project,
Judy can provide fabric, elastic and patterns.
We'd love to see this project a collective one with Rotary club members
and friends joining together to support the health care workers in our community.
Please encourage those who are interested in participating
to contact our Club and we will put them in touch with Judy.
You can also ask to join the Facebook group

and in the questions where it asks which state
you are from, add our Rotary Club name.
