The Rotary Clubs of South Perth-Burswood and Victoria Park

held a joint changeover evening at the Pines Restaurant, Bentley

to farewell the past presidents and welcome the new ones.

The theme of the evening was a masked dinner

and most of the 70 guests arrived in a range of colourful masks,

which added a lot of fun to the event.

The evening was made extra special by the awarding of Paul Harris Awards

to two very worthy people, Alan Cockram and Brian Hancock.

Alan was the instrumental in arranging for the installation of a well in India,

and Brian the driving force that resulted in the Team Challenge event.

District Governor Jerry Pilcher, EarlyAct president Isobel Lowe and Jane O'Leary,
the Rotary driver behind the establishment of the club.

Welcome to the first EarlyAct club in Western Australia.

The EarlyAct Club of Rosalie Primary school

was chartered on Friday 3 July.

District Governor Jerry Pilcher present name badges

and info packs to office bearers and members.

Jerry acknowledged the foresight of Rosalie principal Roslyn Kay

in seeing the value of introducing EarlyAct into the school

and the dedication of teachers Suzie Kidd and Suzanne Fraser

in working with the children and Rotary in establishing the club.

Rosalie already has an ethos of assisting in the community

and the establishment of the EarlyAct club offers

another avenue for contribution.
