We are celebrating the next phase of the Rotary East Java Hearing Project,

 a joint initiative of the Rotary Clubs of Cambridge WA, 

Mount Lawley WA and Surabaya Indonesia. 

New funding support will enable training of Indonesian audiologists.

Our Geraldton Seniors were given a special treat on Australia Day 

when they attended the annual Rotary Club of Geraldton Seniors Concert

Rotary Club of Como

Maureen Betts from Inner Wheel gave members an interesting talk 

about their women's organisation that is an affiliate of Rotary.

 It's membership was primarily made up of female relatives

 of Rotarians and their emblem is a small wheel within the Rotary wheel. 

Thanks to Maureen and Dorothy Smith (President Kalamunda Club)

 for attending our meeting.

Rotary Club of Pinjarra's Call for Help...

.Como Club members Tim and Heike Davey, John Dodman, 

Kim Larsen and Dennis Menzies helped to remove fencing wire

 from the devastated Yarloop area following the recent bush fires

. The wire had to be removed as the protective coating was eroded

 and the wire will rust very quickly.
