 thanks to the work of the GPEI.
 Afghanistan is one of only two countries that continue

Support Australian Rotary Health

The  Bledisloe Cup Rugby Union Test Match between 
the Wallabies and the New Zealand All Blacks
 will be played at Optus Stadium on Saturday 10 August 2019.

For the Rotary Club of Perth\City East  this was a perfect opportunity
 to host the Wallabies coach, Michael Cheika at breakfast,
 and you are invited to come along and be part of Michael's 
very special Q&A format with renowned sports commentator,
  Trevor Jenkins, as Master of Ceremonies. 

This is a unique opportunity not to be missed
 and Australian Rotary Health will receive a major portion 
of the proceeds for much needed research into all aspects of mental health.  

The venue is the Hyatt Hotel on the 7 August 2019
 – 7.00am for a 7.15am start – finishing at 8.30am.
 The cost is $ 85 for Rotarians and $ 95 for everyone else.

The Rotary Club of Margaret River celebrated a busy and fruitful 2018/2019
 Rotary year on the evening of 5 July 2019 with members and guests.

The Club awarded Paul Harris Fellowships
to two very deserving community members,
 Wendy Coffey for her work with the
 Margaret River Senior High School Emergency Service Cadet Corps, 
for her energy and for her willingness to take on challenges,
 and Deb Earl for her work in establishing and running
 the Biggest Morning Tea in Cowaramup which, under
 Deb's leadership raised $250,000 for cancer research.

At Rotary Club of Karrinyup Changeover on 27th June
, Brian Bracanin was named as the recipient of a Paul Harris Fellow sapphire pin.
 As Brian was unable to be present that evening,
 Past President Robyn made the presentation this week.
 Brian has served the club faithfully over many years in many different roles.






















A very successful club changeover was held last Sunday 8 July.
 This year we enjoyed a different style of changeover,
 with members and guests enjoying a Sunday brunch
 at Golden Ponds Function Centre
. In the theme of "Sunday brunch" folks arrived wearing a dressing gown!
 Congratulations to Past President Stephen Castelli
 on a very successful 2018-2019 presidency.
 Our best wishes to incoming President Wendy Cooper 
who will be leading us for 2019-2020.

. He went to great heights to keep up with Mark (Longlegs) Williamson,
 even bringing in a step ladder to help.

On this day in 1962  [June 27 ], our Club was Chartered 
and brought into the family of Rotary International.
 We’ve loved every year since!







A big thank you on behalf of Triple M Goldfields to HBF
 and their Workplace Givers Grants for selecting Give Me 5 For Kids
 as one of the recipients of a $5000 grant.

Employees from HBF contribute wages to the fund
, which is then matched dollar for dollar by HBF.

Yesterday 9/7 a very sad Trini boarded her flight home
 via Auckland where she and fellow exchange student friend

 a farewell gift along with a signed flag and Aussie memorabilia.

50 Years in the Town of Cambridge!!
 Evolving from Rotary Floreat and City Beach,
 Rotary Cambridge celebrated its 50th Anniversary at a dinner on 10 July
. Cerificates of Appreciation, Honorary Membership and Friend of Rotary
 were presented to Max, Peter, Leonie and Mayor Keri Shannon.




























Ian and Jacqui Pittaway delivered 200 packets of Cup a Soup
 which had been very kindly donated by the friends and members
 Many thanks to you all for your wonderful donation.




A big thank you to all the Attadale Rotary Club Members and Friends
 for your fantastic efforts and to Curtin Radio 100.1FM for this fantastic way
 to support Perth Homeless Support Group.
 Just before we delivered these today the total cups of soup delivered 
to Curtin Radio had reached 5000,
 now 5,200 which no doubt will grow.
