Perth Bone
and Tissue Bank is analogous to the
WA Rotary Cord Blood Bank except that the
former,
while supported by some Rotary Clubs is not a Rotary project
and has
been running successfully "under the radar"
for 20 years and has
provided graft to over 8000 patients.
The lease on its current site at
the rear of Hollywood Hospital
has not been renewed and so it must relocate.
Hence the need for greater publicity and fund raising.
See www.pluslife.org.au for more info.
The
attached flier advertises the Golf Day
and sponsorship opportunities.
Please contact Kate Williams on (08)

or email kate.williams@pluslife.org.au
with any questions regarding the event or sponsorship.

Smitty was a heating and cooling technician.
His assistant was a small
chimpanzee
he had trained to do all the duct work.
The chimp had no fear of
heights or confined spaces,
and besides, he didn’t have to be paid.
One day, Smitty got a call from a customer
who said his air conditioner
had broken down.
Smitty went over and discovered some defective ducting.
The
customer asked if it would be hard to fix.
“No problem,” replied Smitty,
“I have a little duct ape that will take
care of it!”
