Rotary Club of Pinjarra

Pinjarra Rotary Club receiving donations for the
 Pinjarra Rotary Club Fire Appeal from

Mandurah Rotary Clubs have generously donated a combined total of $28,000 



The Pinjarra Rotary Club Fire Appeal has currently commissioned 
and is supporting a mobile trauma counselling unit
with the Peel Mobile Health Clinic 
along with helping farmers in the fire zone
 to feed their stock for the long term
and helping them with their fencing.

The next Pinjarra Fencing day will be on the weekend
 of the 30th and 31st of January
Pinjarra Rotary Club will be coordinating teams to pull down fences
 with in the fire zone.
Any Rotarians or friends who would like to help 
are most welcome to come.
Camping facilities are available at the 
Boar Swamp Camp Draft grounds on Blythewood Farm.

Rodger Hamilton
Rodger joined the Rotary Club of Kwinana in 1988.
  During his time with the club he was a very active member,
 serving in most Board positions.
  Rodger was instrumental in the establishment of the lookout tower
 in the Rotary Wildflower Reserve in Kwinana, 
using his work contacts to obtain the necessary steel
 for construction of the tower. 
 The club honoured him for his service by presenting him
 with a Paul Harris Fellow,
 and later a Paul Harris Sapphire Pin.
