Our guest speaker at a recent meeting was Elle Yakopetti
who has
recently returned from Georgia, USA,
where she spent a year studying political
science
. She was there for the election campaigns
of Hillary Clinton and Donald
Trump,
which made for interesting times,
being able to observe political
science inaction and up close!
It was not all study however;
Elle brought back a lot of
photographs of the various things
that went on from on campus and all over the
USA
. She said that it was wonderful to be able to be immersed
in the American
culture for a year
The photograph above shows Elle presenting
a banner from the
Rotary Club of Warner Robins Georgia
, who hosted her
to President Geoff
Francis.
