Tonight was a great night for mental
health as we marked Rotary Mental Health Hat day
with our traditional
wear-a-hat dinner.
Many members were recognised by others for their commitment
and hard work
And the new item for the night, the Hat Toss revealed the "biggest
tossers", male and female.

. Pictured are Attadale
Rotarians Tom Slater, John Sharp, Robin Hamilton & Mal Bennett
and Patricia Sharp & Elaine Bennett who were all dressed Nepalese style.
They all travelled to India
and Nepal in 2016 and took part in a program
to help with the polio
immunisation.
It was a very special time for them all and it was wonderful
that
they could now share their experiences
with the newer members of Attadale

Rotary Club of Rockingham
The Rockingham RSL recently held an Ocktoberfest
and considering our club, Rotary Club of Rockingham (Western Australia)
is hosting a GERMAN exchange student, Neele Schlüter
a few of the members ate,
drank and laughed our way through a lovely afternoon
Rockingham
Volunteer Sea Rescue Group invited the
to a BBQ to say thank you for the donation of $20,000 to build a
massive shed..
.... we ate, we laughed, we had many chats, we went on a tour,
we
polished a whole massive tray of BBQ meat which was cooked to perfection
and we
had FUN, because at Rotary whilst we love helping
and doing good for our
community it still has to be FUN....
Rotary Club of West Perth
Our breakfast meeting was
"Bring a Friend Day" and it was a great success.
Fellowship was all
the go as friends and members shared stories of Rotary
... Past District Governor Angus gave a presentation on the West Perth Rotary Club
showcasing some of the many projects sponsored and run over the years.
It was
excellent given the occasion of the meeting.
Two of Cambridge's new Councillors
attended along with many friends of Rotarians.
Assistant Governor Judy Dennison was on hand
joining in the sharing atmosphere
Rotary Youth Exchange student
Claudine Bouverat gave the club
an account of her life in her home town.
Claudine is very active here in Perth,
always trying the "ozzie" side
of life, and having a ball.
