The #REQSquad was out in force last night for some top notch
rock climbing action at Rockface Climbing Centre in Northbridge!
It was an awesome night out, and great training to get our guns
into shape ahead of our bbq cooking efforts
for Anzac Day brekky next week!

Last week we had the honour of presenting Share the Dignity
with over $7300 which was raised during
last year's Share the Dignity Quiz Night!
This was a big moment for our club,
and a massive shout out goes to Kate Parker
for running such a successful event!

Rotary Club of West Perth

During this week President Jill organised an excellent club forum
to set the future direction of the club.
Held during the early evening attending members were treated
to an inspirational talk by James McLeod,
 President of Rotary Elizabeth Quay
. Really, this man should be our Premier, or even Prime Minister!
Peter gave an insightful view of how he has engaged
with Rotarians to transform "old" Rotary to the new vision of Rotary.
President Jill then outlined the club's vision
and identified projects by directorates

What a fantastic night
Thank you to EVERYONE who did turn up,
we had a great night, the food was sensational,
 the company and ambience electric
and the night just flowed with laughter.
The recipients are listed below who received their cheques.
They were asked to spend it in our region and to remember
that shop local buy local is the Rockingham way.
to be able to offer the money from all our money raised each week

We look forward now even MORE to the grants for 2019.

Rotary Club of Karrinyup

RC Karrinyup's major International Project involves
supporting a school for at-risk children in Ndola, Zambia
. Phase 1 of the project, completed in 2016,
provided a reliable supply of fresh water.
On a recent private visit to Zambia,
International Committee member Nchima scheduled a visit to the school.
The visit was aimed at continuing to build on our relationship
with Arising Life Ministries, to check on the current state of affairs
and review RC Karrinyup funded projects.
He spent a whole day with Joyce Chimbila
the Director of ALMS, her staff and the lovely children at ALMS.

A group of children at the school. All are 'at risk' and many are orphans.
An education will break the poverty cycle

Preparing lunch for the children. For many, this is the only meal they get.

involved the provision of a reliable supply of fresh water via a well
