currently focusing
on research for Mental Health for Children
at
especially during the month of October.
The Rotary Club of Karrinyup is
having a “Hat Day”
at our meeting on Wednesday
17 October.
So everyone please wear your special hat to the
meeting
or otherwise you will need to
“purchase” one of Phil’s special hats at
the door.
An expert judging panel chaired by
Russell will determine the winner
on the night and there may be a prize or two
at stake.
It should be a fun evening and will
also raise money whilst supporting
Rotary’s efforts to find research solutions
for mental health issues.

Earlier this year Herman ran the Marathon in the City to Surf.

about the preparation and challenges for the run.
In a little over 5 hours and
16 minutes Herman
completed the 42 km which is no easy feat.
A fantastic effort
finishing 590th and placing 4th for runners over 65.
