Lift the Lid is a campaign run by Australian Rotary Health
to raise
awareness and funds for mental health research.
Almost 1 in 5 Australians who will experience
a mental illness
within a 12 month period.
Nearly
half the population (45%) will experience a mental illness
at some stage in
their life.
Alarmingly 1/3 of young people have had an episode of mental
illness
by the time they are 25
Be
kind to yourself and to each other, speak up and reach out - lift the lid!
