Lift the Lid is a campaign run by Australian Rotary Health
to raise awareness and funds for mental health research.
Almost 1 in 5 Australians who will experience a mental illness
within a 12   month period.
Nearly half the population (45%) will experience a mental illness
at some stage in their life.
Alarmingly 1/3 of young people have had an episode of mental illness
by the time they are 25

Be kind to yourself and to each other, speak up and reach out - lift the lid!

A great night at the Peel Rotary Clubs catch up this week.
Thanks you President Be for a fantastic night.

Our special guests last night were Moana and Leanne from Centre Care.
They talked on mental health and their roles.
Possibly thought we might need there assistance when they seen us on silly hat day.
 Very interesting talk.

Thank you to all the skippers who volunteered their time to take 30 families
out on the water in their yachts,
Joanie, Camp Quality and Rotary volunteers, photographer Bevan,
and Kelly and Dean and others from the yacht club.
After water pistol fights on the river, kids enjoyed the jumping castle pirate ship,
