 in The West Australian Newspaper People's Choice category 
of the WA Volunteer of the Year Awards.
Voting is now open and you are invited to cast your vote.  

Please encourage your friends to vote as well
 because this year all people who vote will go in the
draw to win $1,000 for the registered charity 
that the person they voted for volunteers.

Youth exchange students Laura from France, Smiley from Venezuela,
 Lorna from Mexico and Gabriela from Brazil visited the club. 
Gabriela is sponsored by Cockburn

 and her hosts are Peter and Michelle.
 We sang happy birthday to Gabriela.
 Happy sweet 16 and many happy returns.
The girls told us a little about their experience in Australia







 awards which the Rotary Club of Cockburn supports. 
Blake was awarded the apprentice of the year as well as the student of the year
 and the Toyota apprentice of the year.
 Jenny was the achievement awardee for Community Services.
 Both gave an insight into their long journey into education
 and their achievements with the help of the club's sponsorship.
