On Saturday morning 24 October, the Rotary Club of Cambridge

participated in the Lake Monger Garage Sale Trail -

an event run by the Town of Cambridge.

The club had a stand to publicise Rotary International

and club activities to the public in order to canvas new members.

On the display were a Shelterbox and a Wheelchair for kids

both accompanied by their backing displays.

The "sales" team comprised President Jeremy Wood and Jeanette Wood,

David Saggers, Mike Mullin, Roger Veary

and the O'Brien team of Brian and Avril.

The team was assisted by DG Jerry Pilcher

and DG Nominee Lindsay Dry as well

as volunteers Kristan Teasdale and Rosemary Edwards

of used medical equipment for Cambodia on Saturday.

On Thursday (November 5) President Andrew Pritchard and Past President Arthur Todd
travelled to Gnowangerup to present 33 magnifying microscopes
or use in the science department of the Gnowangerup District High School
as part of the "Microscopes in Schools" project set up and coordinated
by the Rotary Club of Freshwater Bay.
