Interact Club of Freshwater Bay

On 30th August, the Interact Club of Freshwater Bay held their Changeover
prior to the Year 12's becoming engrossed in their final exams.

Jamie Krige handed over the role of President to her younger sister Georgia.
Jamie did a fine job as President and Georgia has already proven
she will be a fantastic president as she is increasing the number of members dramatically,
knowing that the bulk of the older members will be leaving at the end of Year. 12.

Speaker at the meeting  (13th September) was our own member
Anne-Sophie LaRosa Lesteven, who spoke about her experiences 25 years ago
when she spent 2 1/2 months as a volunteer with Mother Teresa.
The experience changed Anne-Sophie's life and has left an indelible impact on her,
all culminating in her working with the blind,
coming to live in Australia and of course becoming involved
 with service through Rotary.
