Last night was our Changeover Dinner which was enjoyed by all.
 President Dawn handed the reigns over to new President Tony and his Board
, while three Paul Harris Awards were presented to Ben Andrew, Gordon Golby and Peter Hill (in absence)
 for their commitment above and beyond to the club. 
Member of the Year went to a very deserving Don Spriggins 
who has been the soul of our Bulletin for most of the last decade.

 for joining our celebrations

In connection with over 34,000 Rotary Clubs around the World,
 REQ held its club Changeover ceremony last Wednesday night at Public House.

The night was filled with lots of fond memories and laughter 
around various charity projects engaged by the club during the year
. Some Club highlights throughout the year were the successful raising of over $5.4k
 for the Share the Dignity charity organisation, 
Volunteering at Path of Hope Foundation’s housing facility in Perth
 and coordinating workshops at the 
St Vincent De Paul Society’s Migrant centre in Nollamara.

 for their ongoing drive and outstanding contributions to REQ

West Perth Rotary celebrated the official changeover on Friday evening. 
An important evening in the Club calendar
, changeover night provides the opportunity to welcome
 a new Club President and Board members and also to
 officially thank the outgoing President and Board members. Another important function is to acknowledge those Rotarians
 who went above and beyond throughout the year to assist the club
 and others in our local and international community. 
Three members - David Arrowsmith, Colin Arthur and Guy Mattioli 
were each presented with a Paul Harris Fellow.
 Our thanks to Jill Smith our past President and welcome to Geoff Woods
 as Club President and Board members.
 We all look forward to a wonderful 2018/19 Rotary year.

The Jo Wheatley All Abilities Playspace was officially opened earlier this year
 and is a wonderful place for all children - young and old.
 Situated on the banks of the Swan River the playspace
 was a joint project between Rotary and the City of Nedlands.
 It’s free and caters to children of all abilities
