PDG Bruce Lynch (2017/18) presented PDG Erwin Biemel (2013/14) 
with a number of awards in recognition of his service to D9465 
 during Bruce's year of Presidency.

Erwin received a Distinguished Service to Rotary Award,
 a Certificate of Appreciation
 and a further  Paul Harris  Fellow Ruby Recognition.

In the theme of all things Swedish for Felix's presentation this evening,
 Club Service Director Richard organised with the lovely staff
at Hillarys Yacht Club for a Swedish buffet
 and we dined in style.
 Felix is seen here about to help himself to One Pot Swedish Beef & Pasta with Mushrooms
, Traditional Swedish Meatballs, Swedish Potato Croquettes, 
Salmon Potato Bake, Steamed Beans, Swedish Potato Salad, Beetroot Salad
 and Cucumber and Red Onion Salad.
 As if that wasn't enough, Rotarians and visitors
then tucked in to Caramel and Apple Swedish Cheesecake for dessert.



Some fabulous young people, who share or will share a significant experience,
 that of a Rotary Youth Exchange student.

 2019 Outbound exchange year in Norway,
 along with our most recently returned Outbound student Matt, 
who spent the 2017 year in Japan,
 our current Inbound student form Sweden Felix

A big Congratulations and Thank You to Attadale Rotarian Gillian Baker
 for organising a most enjoyable club fundraiser on Wednesday September 12
 at the Melville Theatre. 
Her attention to detail and planning was much appreciated.
 The play was called 'Cash on Delivery' 
and was hilarious with continuous laughter from the audience.
 The actors were amazing and the set was very well done.
Thank you also to all the members who invited family and friends,
 provided supper and contributed prizes 
for the raffle held that night.
