Rotary clubs are taking action to provide immediate relief
to those affected by Hurricane Dorian.
By mobilizing Rotary’s vast global network, members
are able to raise funds, collect essential items,
and work with other agencies to meet urgent needs
. Our disaster relief partner ShelterBox is sending a team to the Bahamas
to assess damage and evaluate recovery options
. Rotary also has a Disaster Response Fund that helps clubs support
rebuilding efforts where the need is greatest.

Hurricane Dorian has killed, injured and left homeless thousands of people
as it devastates islands in the Carribean.
If you would like to help, please consider the relief opportunities being led by
Rotary District 7020, ShelterBox and others. #Rotary cares.

Rotary Day at the United Nations celebrates two organizations' shared vision
for peace and highlights the critical humanitarian activities
that Rotary and the UN lead around the world.

This year's event is entitled "Refugees: Challenging Assumptions,

Creating Opportunities" which centers around
the theme of connecting for refugees.
Hear from a variety of guest speakers and the People of Action:
Connectors Beyond Borders who will be honored for making
a positive difference in their communities and around the world.

Tickets are US$75 (Standard) and US$50 (Young Leaders, age 35 or younger)
