The Rotary Club of Albany Port made a vocational visit
to Foodbank Albany on 10 Feb.
Our club is proud to provide support to Foodbank whenever possible
to assist in their important work in our community.
Albany Manager, Rod Pfeiffer, welcomed us
and explained how Foodbank operates.
Low levels of government assistance mean reliance
on a wide range of donors and
volunteers.
Pizzas, courtesy of President Elect, Adrian Benson,
the owner of Dominos Albany,
were on the menu.
Thanks Adrian, this enabled us to donate most of the proceeds
from the meeting to Foodbank.
The wonderful desserts in the photos were the work
of Kristie Benson and were consumed with
delight.

A really excellent social night tonight on the Busselton jetty.
90 people in total including many friends and partners of Rotarians
. Lisa and her jetty crew looked after us perfectly
so a big thank you all round to everyone involved
in the planning and running of this event.
We were privileged to receive longtime Rotarian Max Bird
(Kwinana Rotary Club Int'l
Mgr, Project Mgr. Rotary Projects Timor-Leste East) recently
to talk about Timor Leste Rotary projects.
It was great to see how things like addressing potable water supply
can change a community for the better: better health;
and school attendance outcomes especially for girls.
Keep on doing the work that you do Max and team.
