The students really enjoyed getting to sit in the legislative assembly

Exciting times ahead as the girls will be commencing
their Northwest Safari the next day.

At the John Fawcett Foundation AGM this morning.
The JFF was an initiative of West Perth Rotary Club.

of support to this excellent organisation.
Gede Bingin Exec Manager of JFF Indonesia and Wayan Helmy were down again
and Penny Lane (all the way from Tasmania)
came along to make it the most complete board member representation

Rotary Club of Kenwick

Peter and P Joe planted 40+ trees — one day after Earth Day.
We were given the opportunity by The South East Regional Centre
 for Urban Landcare (SERCUL).

At the beginning of this Rotary year, RI World President Ian Riseley
issued a challenge for ever Rotary club
to plant one tree for each Rotary member.
His goal in doing so was twofold.
The first goal was obvious: trees are good for us.
They absorb carbon and release oxygen, they support biodiversity,
they improve our soil, our climate, and our moods.
We need more of them, and planting trees is a wonderful project
for all Rotary clubs to do together
