460

from their newsletter

We are preparing for 'Sinnamon House.'
Once our second children's accommodation is completed,
we will be able to have everything ready
for the little children who will be coming inside.
The container is departing Melbourne around July 2019
to arrive ahead of our volunteers in September 2019.
Check out our wish list and contact Wayne Limbrick,
Shepparton Central Rotary Club to fund the purchase
or donate items to be included in the container.

Our 38th Container for Cambodia
contained 3 C Arms (one from SJoG Geraldton)
, 4 Industrial Washing Machines, a Dryer, 1000l of detergent,
an Anaesthetic machine, an X Ray machine ,
just to name a few pieces of equipment.
Someone asked me what the replacement value would be?
I have no idea but Michael Flowers who donated the Washing machines etc
indicated the replacement value of his donation would be $100,000
. The C arms, Anaesthetic machine, X Ray machine best guess circa $1m.
Lets hope it all gets there undamaged.
Michael Flowers and Kareen are going to Cambodia in May
to ensure the Washing Machines and Dryer are all installed correctly.
