over themselves in the name of Motor Neurone Disease?
Well this week is MND Awareness Week,

Australian Rotary Health has funded 9 PhD Scholarships
and 5 Research Project Grants for research into #MND
 totaling $1,060,000!

Rotary Club of Northam
The Rotary  Club Northam had planned to have a trip to Vietnam
commencing in Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon) on Sunday 12th July.
Unfortunately we’ve had a couple pull out
and so we are now seeking interested Rotarians to join with us.
Duration of the trip is 2 weeks covering the southern half of Vietnam
as far North as Hue (pronounced WAY).
Participants can choose their own airline and the plan
is to be ready at Saigon Airport to fly North to Da Nang
on Sunday morning 12th July at 08.00am.
Rotarian Dick Johnston with his Vietnamese wife “Thom”
will lead the tour and transport will be by small coaster bus
with a casual itinerary – e.g. participants deciding on a daily basis
whether they move on to, and where they stay.
3 Star hotels are proposed and estimated cost for transport
accommodation and meals is $150pp per day.
Tour will conclude in Saigon on Saturday evening 25th July.
It is planned to visit the Swimming Teachers program
initiated by Rtn Dick Johnston when he was a member of Rotary Club of Hillarys.
See “Humanity in Motion” book pages 48,49
for information on the “Swim to Live” program.

Interested Rotarians/partners are invited to contact
Rtn Jan Horsley, President of Rotary Club of Northam
by no later than Monday 11th May
or phone 0477706820 for more details.

Albany Community Hospice has received a new syringe driver
thanks to the generosity of the Rotary Club of Albany Port.

The syringe driver is a necessary piece of equipment
